Recipe Ingredients for homemade bran muffins

3 cups wheat bran
2 cups buttermilk
2/3 cup raisins
1/4 cup margarine
1/4 cup Splenda
2 eggs
1/4 cup molasses
1 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup ground flax seed

Recipe Directions for homemade bran muffins

  1. soak raisins and bran in milk for 10 minutes

  2. cream together margarine & splenda

  3. add eggs & molasses

  4. combine dry ingredients

  5. add to creamed mixture along with raisin mixture

  6. bake @ 375 degrees for 17 minutes
