Reasonably low fat and really filling. Not the healthiest thing on paper but takes no time to prepare and leaves me and my wife full for hours - whereas salads sometimes mean we snack more.

Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Beefburgers

350 g ground beef
2 rolls
1 tomato
1 onion
2 gherkins
40 g lettuce
15 ml tomato ketchup

Recipe Directions for Homemade Beefburgers

Make 2 beef pattys, size of the bread rolls. Shallow fry in a griddle. Use kitchen towel to remove excess grease. Place patty in roll, put sliced onion, gherkin and tomato and a small dollop of ketchup.
