Homemade version of mac and cheese

Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Baked Macaroni and Cheese

6 ounces elbow macaroni
1 cup powdered milk
1/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
2 eggs
2 cups boiling water
8 ounces low fat cheese
1/2 cup butter

Recipe Directions for Homemade Baked Macaroni and Cheese

  1. preheat oven 375 degrees

  2. cook macaroni according to package directions

  3. spray casserole dish with Pam

  4. in a large bowl whisk dry milk, flour, salt, eggs and worcestershire sauce and melted butter

  5. gradually add boiling water- I use water from macaroni

  6. add half the cheese and whisk until smooth

  7. stir in macaroni and rest of cheese

  8. pour into casserole dish; cover with foil, bake 30 min.
