Recipe Ingredients for Homebaked Tofu

9 oz. tofu
1/2 cup pineapple juice
2 cloves garlic
1/2 teaspoon dried red chili pepper
1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
1/4 teaspoon soy sauce

Recipe Directions for Homebaked Tofu

  1. Slice a 9 oz. block of firm tofu into 9 pieces.

  2. Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl.

  3. Arrange the tofu slices in a shallow glass baking dish.

  4. Pour over the marinade and let stand for at least 1/2 hour.

  5. Place the slices on a rack over a aluminum-foil lined cookie sheet.

  6. Bake in a 325 degree oven for about 35 minutes.

  7. Turn every 10 to 15 minutes and baste with leftover marinade.
