When I added up all the calories from the nutritional labels I came up with 281 calories per serving. Not bad for a large bowl of chili. I can even afford to have crackers with it!

Recipe Ingredients for Home Style Veggie Chili

16 oz Chili Beans (Bush's undrained)
16 oz Dark Red Kidney Beans(Bush's undrained)
6 oz tomato paste
14 1/2 oz diced tomatoes
1 lb soy protein
1 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon chili powder
2 teaspoons oregano
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil

Recipe Directions for Home Style Veggie Chili

In a large pan, cook the meatless soy protein and onion until the protein is brown and the onions are soft about 5 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 20 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.
