Easy and fresh tortillas made at home

Recipe Ingredients for Home-made tortillas

80 grams Gluten-free flour (F.G. Roberts)
30 grams Stone Ground 100% Wholemeal Plain Flour
1 large Egg, Whole

Recipe Directions for Home-made tortillas

  1. Sift flours into bowl

  2. Beat egg & add to bowl along with water

  3. Mix until batter is smooth (will be thin) and pour into measuring jug

  4. Heat a frying pan over moderate heat and lightly oil

  5. Pour 1/6 of mixture into fry pan and tilt pan around in a circle to spread mixture out evenly

  6. Flip when sides start to curl in and cook until golden spots appear on bottom side

  7. Use straight away or cool down and keep in fridge or freezer for later use
