Home Made Tahini! More nutrients, stronger flavor, tons cheaper!

Recipe Ingredients for Home Made Tahini

1 cup Unhulled Sesame Seeds
8 serving Olive Oil

Recipe Directions for Home Made Tahini

  1. Measure out 1 cup of raw, unhulled sesame seeds.

  2. If you prefer a more traditional taste, toast these on low heat ( they don't have to be very brown, like nuts, as they burn easy, just listen for the crackle and pops and keep stirring).

  3. If you want a raw version, leave as is!!

  4. Place in food processor.

  5. Add in 1/3 to 1/2 cupof pure olive oil. I like the lighter taste. Again, use cold pressed for raw version.

  6. BLEND!

  7. That's it! Makes about 2/3-3/4 cup depending on how much oil. I use about a half cup to tone down taste and thickness. My version makes about 35 teaspoons.
