Makes 8 servings



This is the basic crust and sauce recipe. It does not include any toppings.

Recipe Ingredients for Home Made Pizza

3 cups white flour
1 cup warm water
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
2 1/2 tsp yeast
8 oz tomato sauce
1 clove garlic
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp basil
1 tablespoon tomato paste
4 oz part skim mozzarella cheese

Recipe Directions for Home Made Pizza

Combine first 6 ingredients in a food processor or bread maker. Form dough. Let rise 1 1/2 hours. Punch down. Let rest 10 minutes. Form into two balls. Let rest 10 minutes. From balls into flat pizza crust. Combine tomato sauce through paste. Simmer for 10-15 minutes. Add to top of crust. Top with cheese and toppings of choice. Preheat oven to 475 degrees. Bake pizzas to desired color.
