Recipe Ingredients for Home-made Meat & Veg Soup

1 serving Smoked Pork Hock
200 grams Lentils
100 grams Butter Beans
100 grams Split Pea
200 grams Pearled Barley
1 slice, large (1/4" thick) Onions
6 carrot (7-1/2") Carrots
1 medium Turnips
4 stalk, large (11"-12" long) Celery
2 tbsp Parsley
2 cup, chopped Cabbage
2 large (3" to 4-1/4" dia.) Potatoes, Boiled
1 tsp Pepper, Black
1 oz Bay Leaves
5 cup (8 fl oz) Water

Recipe Directions for Home-made Meat & Veg Soup

Cook ham hock in water until stock is made - 45 mins. Cut ham into small pieces, add all vegetables and seasoning. Simmer until vegetables and meat are soft - around 1 hour.
