Recipe Ingredients for Home-made Mashed Potatoes

6 medium potatoes, peeled
1 cup skim milk
1/4 cup margarine

Recipe Directions for Home-made Mashed Potatoes

  1. In large pot, bring water to a boil.

  2. Cut peeled potatoes into quarters and place in boiling water.

  3. Boil potatoes until tender.

  4. Place tender potato quarters into large mixing bowl.

  5. Add skim milk and margarine to potatoes.

  6. Using electric mixer, mix ingredients until only a few lumps are visible.

  7. For creamier mashed potatoes, add more milk in 1/4 cup increments as desired.
