Recipe Ingredients for Home made Coleslaw

193 g white cabbage, shredded
163 g green cabbage, shredded
2 tbsp malt vinegar
1 med red onion
40 g red pepper, diced
240 g carrot, grated
250 g low fat natural yoghurt yoghurt
30 g onions and chives cottage cheese
1 tsp wholegrain mustard

Recipe Directions for Home made Coleslaw

  1. Shred cabbages and dice onions and peppers. Grate carrots

  2. Add the vinegar, mix all veges together.

  3. Mix together yoghurt, cottage cheese, cracked pepper, mustard and any other herbs and spices you want. I added powdered garlic and dried parsley but experiment.

  4. Mix dressing and vege's, then let sit for at least 30minutes. The flavour gets better the longer you wait!
