A hearty soup made with lots of fresh veggies. Delicious and filling.

Recipe Ingredients for Home Made Chicken Soup

2 cups Chicken, Breast, Meat Only
1 cup Chicken, Dark Meat, Meat Only
1 cup carrots
1 cup Turnips
1 cup celery
1/2 cup onion
1 tbsp butter
10 cups Soup, stock, chicken, home-prepared
1 cup dried beans, lentils, barley

Recipe Directions for Home Made Chicken Soup

  1. Sautee onion in butter until translucent.

  2. Add stock, cooked chicken, veggies, dried beans, lentils and barley.

  3. Simmer until beans and lentils are tender (about 45 mins).

  4. Feel free to add any of your favourite veggies or herbs.
