Chicken noodle soup that I made in the slow cooker on 6/6/08.

Recipe Ingredients for Home Made Chicken Noodle Soup (6/6/08)

64 oz of chicken broth
3 carrots, peeled & diced
1 cup Celery, diced
20 oz chicken
1 cup fusilli, whole wheat

Recipe Directions for Home Made Chicken Noodle Soup (6/6/08)

  1. Turn on the slow cooker to high.

  2. Peel & dice the carrots, and chop the celery. Dump the vegetables in the slow cooker.

  3. Chop up the canned chicken, and dump that in the slow cooker.

  4. Pour in both 32-ox boxes of low-sodium chicken broth.

  5. Cook for several hours. When it's done, turn everything off. Wait until it cools, and put it in the refrigerator.

  6. Skim off the fat on top.

  7. Heat, serve, salt & pepper to taste. Enjoy.
