Recipe Ingredients for Home Fries

1/4 cup olive oil
6 russet potatoes, medium, 1/4 inch slices [i140095]
1 onion, medium, halved and sliced thinly [i11282?size=6]
1/2 red bell pepper, diced [i11821]
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Recipe Directions for Home Fries

Heat olive oil in frying pan. Layer 1/3 slices of potato and onion, diced peppers, and spices. Repeat for three layers. Cook covered on low/medium heat until potatoes are fork tender (approximately 30 minutes), turning over (not stirring) every 10 minutes or so, scrapping off bottom of skillet with spatula.
