Homemade bread with reduced sugar

Recipe Ingredients for Home Baked Bread

4 cups flour
1 cup water
1 cup whole milk
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 oz yeast

Recipe Directions for Home Baked Bread

  1. Put sugar in bowl of warm water.

  2. Disolve sugar.

  3. once sugar is disolved add yeast, salt and oil.

  4. Let stand for 15 mins

  5. add flour 1 cup at a time til all mixed in.

  6. Kneed into a ball until it gets to an elastic texture.

  7. Place ball of dough in well oiled bowl, (large enough to hold dough once it has doubled in size) swirl around til dough ball is covered in oil.

  8. Cover bowl with damp cloth or sit in warm oven with a bowl of water, til dough doubles in size.

  9. Take dough out of bowl and kneed again to get all the air bubbles out.

  10. Form Loaf.

  11. Grease a small loaf pan.

  12. Place loaf in greased loaf pan.

  13. Let stand until dough doubles in size again.

  14. Pre heat oven to 350 degrees.

  15. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 mins until golden brown.
