Recipe Ingredients for Holiday soup with gris - dumplings

4 lbs skinless chicken
75 g parsley root
75 g celery root
1 sprig parsley
50 g celery
2 tablespoons of seasoning salt
2 eggs
100 g grits
1 teaspoon seasoning salt
1 tablespoon chopped parsley

Recipe Directions for Holiday soup with gris - dumplings

  1. PUt chicken in a bigger pot and pour in with so much cold water to cover meat. Add the peeled root vegetables, seasoning salt (Vegeta) and put on a low flame that boils.

  2. When the boils, spoon remove the foam and continue to cook until chicken is tender. At the end of cooking, add celery and parsley leaves. During this time, prepare a mixture of gris-dumplings. In deep bowl Mix eggs, add gris, seasoning salt, chopped parsley and whisk stir moistened. Leave to stand covered for about half an hour.

  3. Stir the gritz mixture again, spoon dumplings, put into boiling soup and simmer 8-10 minutes.
