Recipe Ingredients for Holiday Pumpkin Treats

1 1/4 cups unsifted flour
1/3 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 cup cold butter or margarine
1 cup chopped nuts
2 2/3 cups mincemeat (27-oz. jar None Such Ready-to-Use Mincemeat, Regular or Brandy & Rum)
15 oz. can pumpkin (2 cups)
14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground allspice
1/2 tsp. salt

Recipe Directions for Holiday Pumpkin Treats

  1. Preheat oven to 425. Combine flour and sugars; cut in butter until crumbly. Stir in nuts. Reserving 1 1/2 cups crumb mixture, press remaining crumb mixture on bottom and half way up sides of 13x 9-inch baking dish. Spoon mincemeat over crust.

  2. Combine remaining ingredients except reserved crumb mixture; mix well. Pour over Mincemeat. Top with reserved crumb mixture.

  3. Bake 15 minutes; reduce oven to 350. Bake 40 minutes longer or until golden brown around edges. Cool. Cut into squares. Serve warm or at room temperature. Refrigerate leftovers.
