A base recipe to use to make a low calorie, low fat soup that is very filling.

Recipe Ingredients for Hodge Podge Soup

28 oz diced tomatoes
6 c cabbage
2 c onion
1 c carrots
10 oz mushrooms
1 c corn
4 T miso
1/4 c soy sauce
8 c water
1 T olive oil

Recipe Directions for Hodge Podge Soup

Cop all vegetables into bite size pieces. Saute onion,carrots, cabbage and mushrooms until soft. Add tomatoes, miso soy sauce and water. simmer for 15-20 minutes. Add frozen or fresh corn and bring back to a simmer adding whatever seasoning you like. Enjoy.
