Higher protein version of Scones 1. Omit sugar for a more savoury biscuit.

Recipe Ingredients for Higher Protein Scones

1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup soy flour
2/3 cup fat free sour cream
1/8 cup sugar
1 egg
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tsp baking powder
2 tsp baking soda
1 tbsp margarine

Recipe Directions for Higher Protein Scones

  1. Preheat oven to 400 F.

  2. Combine all ingredients.

  3. Divide and drop onto cookie sheet. Bake for 12 mins or until edges are browned.
