A lower fat version of taco soup. Good for a cold day. Slow Cooker friendly.

Recipe Ingredients for High Fibre Taco Soup

1 lb lean ground beef
6 oz corn
1 red pepper
1 onion
1 cup,+diced celery
2 1/2 cup Spaghetti Sauce with Meat
16 g Chili Powder
16 g Cumin
8 g Garlic Powder
1 cup chopped mushrooms
194 g black beans
1/3 cup grated cheddar

Recipe Directions for High Fibre Taco Soup

  1. saute onion and ground beef

  2. drain corn and rinse

  3. drain beans and rinse

  4. drain ground beef and onion mix

  5. add all ingredients except cheese to slow cooker

  6. Cook all day (8 hours minimum)

  7. serve with a sprinkle of shredded cheese on top.
