I have tried variations of this recipe, but this is probably the best so far.

Recipe Ingredients for High Calorie Low Cholesterol Pancakes

80 g plain flour
70 g oatmeal
10 g dried skimmed milk
8 g dried egg white
2 egg whites
250 ml whole milk
10 ml sugar syrup
1 nectarine

Recipe Directions for High Calorie Low Cholesterol Pancakes

  1. Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl.

  2. Mix in the (fresh) egg whites and milk and stir well.

  3. Leave to stand for 5-10 mins just to let the liquids soak into the dried ingredients.

  4. Fry (with no fats in a good quality non-srick pan) as normal pancakes.

  5. Drizzle with sugar syrup and serve with slices of nectarine.

  6. This recipe makes 3 good sized pancakes.
