Japanese steakhouse style mushroom and onion soup

Recipe Ingredients for Hibachi Soup

3 celery stalks
1 onion
4 carrots
3 garlic cloves
1 cup mushrooms
2 tablespoons chicken bouillon
3 tablespoons beef bouillon
2 tablespoons ginger
8 cups water

Recipe Directions for Hibachi Soup

  1. Roughly chop all of the veggies and mince the garlic and ginger.

  2. Toss everyone into the pool.

  3. Bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer. Simmer for at least 45 mins.

  4. Strain out the veggies, leaving you with a delicious broth-like soup. Save the veggies for another use.

  5. Serve with thinly sliced mushrooms, scallions, or french fried onions on top.
