Olive Oil and red wine vinegar salad dressing

Recipe Ingredients for Herbed Vinaigrette

3/4 cup olive oil
6 tablespoons red wine vinegar
3 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon chives
1/2 teaspoon basil
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon tarragon
1 clove fresh garlic (minced)

Recipe Directions for Herbed Vinaigrette

  1. Mix all ingredients in large jar. Mix well. Store in refrigerator. Bring to room temperature before serving.

  2. Note: Variations of this recipe can be made by substituting balsamic, raspberry or other types of vinegar. Other herbs such as thyme, parsley and chevril can be substituted or added based on individual preference.
