Red wine gravy with vegetable broth base and herbs

Recipe Ingredients for Herbed Red Wine Gravy

1 serving Sutter Home Cabernet Sauvignon
2 cup Vegetable Stock
2 cup (8 fl oz) Water
0.5 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached
2 tablespoon Thyme
0.5 tsp Salt, Table
3 dash Pepper, Black
0.5 serving Tomato and Chicken Flavor Bullion
0.5 medium raw Onion Yellow
2 clove Garlic
2 1tsp Olive Oil

Recipe Directions for Herbed Red Wine Gravy

Mix flour and broth until dissolved, sautee minced garlic and diced onion in oil. Add broth mixture and slowly add wine, stirring frequently. Add salt, pepper, and herbs. Cook 5 minutes and slowly add water. Add more wine if desired. Simmer on low heat for 20 min or so. If lumpy, then sieve or cream so homogenous.
