Fresh baked herb and cheese focaccia.

Recipe Ingredients for Herb and Cheese focaccia.

3 1/2 cup All Purpose Flour
6 tbsp Olive Oil
1 1/4 tsp Salt, Table
1 1/2 cup (8 fl oz) Water
36 grams Yeast
1/2 tsp, ground Basil, Dried
1/2 tsp Rosemary, Dried
9 grams Garlic Salt
1 tbs Parmesan Grating Cheese
1/2 oz Gruyere
1/2 tsp Pepper, Black

Recipe Directions for Herb and Cheese focaccia.

  1. Mix warm water and yeast together and let sit for 5 minutes.

  2. While yeast is sitting mix the flour, salt and 3 tablespoons of olive oil.

  3. Once yeast is frothy on top of the water, add it to the flour mixture and mix until dough is formed and is slightly sticky.

  4. Spray small sheet pan with nonstick spray and spread dough to the sides and make it about 20X12.

  5. spray the top with nonstick and cover with plastic wrap for 1 hour in warm area.

  6. Once risen take the plastic wrap off and make dimples all over the dough with your fingers and add the last 3 tablespoons of olive oil to the top and evenly sprinkle the cheese and her mixture on top.

  7. Turn oven to 350 degrees and let dough proof for 30 minutes.

  8. After 30 minutes place dough in the oven and bake for 30-35 minutes turning once about halfway through baking.
