Learned these from a true southern chef! This recipe is as close as I can remember; olive oil is substituted for veggie oil.

Recipe Ingredients for Heirloom Crabcakes

16 oz crab
1 red pepper, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 tsp Old Bay Seasoning
1/4 cup green onion, chopped
2 eggs
1 cup panko
2 tblsp olive oil

Recipe Directions for Heirloom Crabcakes

Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl. Form into patties (8 portions) and fry over medium/low heat-cast iron skillet is best! Cook 1 side, checking carefully before flipping before being done. Place on paper towel to absorb moisture and oil; serve hot or cold. Additional salt and pepper to taste.
