Recipe Ingredients for Heather's Homemade Pie Crust

2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
36 tsp. No Calorie Sweetener
1 cup salted butter, chilled
1/4 cup shortening
8 tbsp. ice water

Recipe Directions for Heather's Homemade Pie Crust

In a mixing bowl combine flour, salt and Splenda. Cut chilled butter sticks into small pieces and add to flour mixture. Add the shortening to flour mixture. Using a pastry cutter, cut the flour into the butter and shortening until it resembles fine granules. Sprinkle the ice water over the flour mixture and mix lightly with hands until the dough sticks together. Shape into flat disk and wrap in plastic. Refrigerate 20-30 minutes. Roll out on lightly dusted surface, preferably wood.
