Recipe Ingredients for Heather's banana bread

1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 cups wheat flour
1/2 cup egg beaters
1 1/2 cup mashed bananas
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Heather's banana bread

  1. Cream butter and sugar together. Add egg beaters a little at a time, beat until smooth.

  2. Blend in mashed bananas.

  3. In a second bowl, stir flour with baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

  4. Add to banana mixture stirring only to moisten. Transfer to a greased and floured loaf pan.

  5. Bake at 350 for about 1 hour until inserted toothpick comes out clean. Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting.
