I got addicted to BLATs a few summers ago, and this is a healthier version. Bacon, Lettuce, Avacado, Tomato Pita. Yum-O

Recipe Ingredients for Heather Leigh's Pita BLAT

1/2 whole wheat pita
1/2 cup lettuce
2 slices tomato
1/4 small avocado
2 slices turkey bacon
1 T light mayo

Recipe Directions for Heather Leigh's Pita BLAT

  1. Nuke turkey bacon till crispy

  2. Split 1/2 whole wheat pita

  3. Spread one side of pocket with mayo

  4. Put in other stuff in nice layers to make it fit

  5. Eat and revel in the amazingness.

  6. Alternative:

  7. Toast pita before filling

  8. Wipe tear of joy from eye, as to not be rude at the table.
