Recipe Ingredients for Heather Leigh's Delicious Brussels Sprouts

5 cups brussels sprouts
3 servings pearl onions (10 oz)
1 T olive oil

Recipe Directions for Heather Leigh's Delicious Brussels Sprouts

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Farenheit.

  2. Trim the bottom of each sprout, peel off yellow leaves.

  3. Boil pearl onions for 1-2 minutes, drain, rinse with cold water.

  4. Trim bottoms and tops of onions, slide off peels.

  5. Toss brussels sprouts and onions in olive oil. Salt and pepper liberally.

  6. Place in a single layer on a pan, pop into the piping hot oven. Roast, tosssing every 15 minutes to ensure even browning, until the sprouts are done, give when you push on them, but not mushy.
