Recipe Ingredients for Hearty Veggie Soup

1 cup, chopped Carrots
1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
1 cup, diced Celery
1 cup slices Parsnips
2 sweetpotato, 5" long Sweetpotato
14 oz Stewed Tomatoes, Italian Recipe
0.67 cup Quick Barley
1 clove Garlic
12 oz Vegetables, Mixed
4 serving Cooking Stock
4 serving Cooking Stock
1 serving Table Blend Salt Free Seasoning Blend
4 serving Red Cooking Wine
2 oz Orzo Dry

Recipe Directions for Hearty Veggie Soup

  1. Heat 64 oz stock in large pot.

  2. Add minced garlic, chopped carrots, onions, celery, parsnips, sweet potatoes.

  3. Add can of stewed tomatoes, and 12 oz frozen mixed veggies.

  4. Season with Mrs. Dash and red cooking wine to taste.

  5. Cover and cook on medium heat until veggies are tender but not mushy, about 45 min. Stir often.

  6. Add barley and orzo about 10 min before serving.
