Recipe Ingredients for Hearty, Meaty Lasagna

284 grams Whole Wheat Lasagna
30 oz Ground Turkey, 93% Lean
30 oz Tomato Products
15 oz Diced Tomatoes with Basil Garlic and Oregano
8 oz Parmesan 100% Grated
8 oz Mozzarella, Part Skim Milk Cheese
0.25 cup, shredded Cheddar Cheese
2 serving 100% Extra Virgin Imported Olive Oil
2 serving Pure Cane Sugar
1 tbsp Original Stick
15 grams Chilli Powder
2 tbsp Parsley

Recipe Directions for Hearty, Meaty Lasagna

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees

  2. Boil water and follow direction on lasagna package.

  3. Brown meat on medium high heat. With a mixing spoon, break up meat into small pieces. Put to the side in a bowl.

  4. Add EVOO and butter to skillet and let heat up.

  5. Add mushrooms and let cook until all are tender. Add a dash of salt and pepper.

  6. Put some mushrooms to the side and mix the other mushrooms and meat together in a bowl.

  7. In the skillet, add the tomato sauce and diced tomatoes to warm up.

  8. Add chilli powder, sugar, pepper for seasoning.

  9. Then slowly add the meat and mushroom mixture in the sauce. Stir.

  10. In a 9x13 pan, and some of the sauce at the bottom.

  11. On top, place 3 cooked noodles into the bottom of the pan.

  12. Next spoon in a mixture of meat mixture and top with 1/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese.

  13. Add another layer, following the same order. Save some meat sauce for the top layer.

  14. On the top layer add the last of the meat sauce and parmesan. Top with mushrooms, the mozzarella and cheddar cheese.

  15. Sprinkle chop parsley on top for decoration.

  16. Cover lasagna with foil and place in oven to bake for 20 mins.

  17. Uncover and bake for another 10 mins. Take the lasagna out of oven and let sit for 5 mins and serve.

  18. Enjoy
