Recipe Ingredients for Hearty Bean and Rice Soup: Revised

1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic salt
8 tsp {4 cubes Knorr chicken bouillon reduced sodium}
6 cups water
1/2 cup brown rice
4 Roma tomatoes, seeded and chopped
1 medium zucchini, chopped
273 g spinach
2 cups navy beans, boiled, with salt
1/4 tsp thyme, powdered
1/4 tsp white pepper

Recipe Directions for Hearty Bean and Rice Soup: Revised

  1. Put all ingredients except spinach in a pot. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, covered, for 15 minutes.

  2. Add spinach. Cook and stir until heated through and rice is tender.
