Mac N Cheese made with Quinoa pasta and real cheese

Recipe Ingredients for Healthy(er) Mac n Cheese

8 oz Quinoa Elbows Pasta
1/2 c chopped onion
2 tbs butter
2 c fat free milk
2 T whole wheat flour
3 c cheddar cheese
1 salt and pepper to taste

Recipe Directions for Healthy(er) Mac n Cheese

  1. prepare Quinoa Elbows Pasta

  2. melt butter in sauce pan and add chopped onion until tender. Salt and pepper and flour and milk at once, until bubbly and slightly thickened. add shredded cheese and stir until melted. Combine with drained pasta and bake in 350 oven for 25-30 min.
