Recipe Ingredients for Healthy veggies Itialian style

3 cups broccoli
3 cups cauliflower
28 ounces diced tomatoes
1 large brown onion
16 ounces small mushrooms
2 medium zucchini
8 ounces tomato sauce no salt added
6 cloves garlic
1/2 tbsp oregano
1/2 tbsp Italian seasoning
16 ounces water
1/2 tsp pepper

Recipe Directions for Healthy veggies Itialian style

  1. cut broccoli and cauliflower from stalks into large bite size pieces

  2. slice onion into 1/2 slices and halving slices in half one time

  3. slice small to medium size mushroon in half length wise

  4. slice zucchini into 1/2 inch slices

  5. crush and chop garlic

  6. Add all veggies into a large pot having a cover. Veggies will cook down. Add spices over top of veggies then tomato sauce and water, stir mixture to combine.

  7. Cover and bring mixture to a boil, stir and reduce heat to low simmer. Simmer covered until veggies are tender, approximately 20-30 minutes.
