Chili with ground turkey, kidney beans, black beans, and veggies

Recipe Ingredients for Healthy Turkey Chili

1 lb ground lean turkey
42 oz diced tomatoes
28 oz tomato sauce
14 oz kidney beans
28 oz black beans
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped green pepper
1 cup sliced zucchini
1 cup sliced summer squash
1 tsp cumin
1 black pepper
1 red pepper
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp garlic powder

Recipe Directions for Healthy Turkey Chili

  1. Mix all ingredients except turkey in large pot

  2. Large pot should be put on stove over medium heat

  3. Brown the turkey with a small amount of oil

  4. Add turkey to large pot with other ingredients, blend

  5. Once chili is simmering, turn heat to low

  6. Simmer at least 1 hour
