A healthy vegan brownie recipe that replaces eggs with tofu.

Recipe Ingredients for Healthy Tofu Brownies

320 g (1 1/2 cup) silken tofu
1 cup water
1/4 cup maple syrup
3/4 cup sugar free maple flavored syrup
1 cup unsweetened cocoa
2 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1 1/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup chopped walnuts

Recipe Directions for Healthy Tofu Brownies

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Blend the tofu, water, maple syrup and cocoa in large food processor.

  3. In a large mixer add flour, sugar and baking powder. Add tofu mixture to large mixer and blend well by hand then turn mixer on medium speed and blend until combined.

  4. Pour evenly into a large, lightly greased 9x13 baking dish and bake for about 25 minutes. Let cool in pan before cutting with a plastic knife.
