Another version of fajitas that is very healthy that is low carb high protein. Oh, and spicy yummy.

Recipe Ingredients for Healthy Steak Fajitas

1 medium onion
3 green bell peppers
1/2 cup mushrooms, raw
5 oz sirloin tip roast
1 clove garlic
1 tbsp cumin
1/2 tsp cayenne
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp onion powder
1 medium tomato

Recipe Directions for Healthy Steak Fajitas

  1. Spray pan with spray olive oil very lightly. Mince garlic. Dice first 4 ingredients into bite-size pieces; cook over medium high heat. Add all spices to taste-- hot sauce is also good. Add some water (I use about 2/3 cup) when almost done. This allows your veggies to cook down without adding any more oil. Garnish with fresh cilantro.

  2. I served with fat free sour cream, salsa, and hemp tortillas. Black beans and corn are good for a side, and cheese adds a little something extra.
