Recipe Ingredients for Healthy Spiced Oatmeal Cookies

1 c. milled flax seeds
1 c. oats
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 c. unsweetened applesauce
1/4 c. I Can't Believe It's Not Butter
1/4 c. water
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ground allspice
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon

Recipe Directions for Healthy Spiced Oatmeal Cookies

  1. Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Beat well. Drop by spoonfuls onto a lightly oiled baking sheet. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 10-15 minutes or until browned.

  2. 48 cookies.
