One of my favorites, a pasta traditionally served on Christmas Eve in my house (Italian tradition).

Recipe Ingredients for "Healthy" Shrimp Fra Diablo

1 pound organic pasta, cooked and reserved
2 tablespoons organic extra virgin olive oil
1/2 pound shrimp
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
10 ounces garlic, minced
28 ounces Organic Diced Tomatoes
14 ounces organic tomato puree
1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley
1 tablespoon fresh chopped basil
2 teaspoons fresh chopped oregano
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Recipe Directions for "Healthy" Shrimp Fra Diablo

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes. Saute until the garlic is soft and golden brown, about 3 - 5 minutes (don't let the garlic burn!).

  2. Add the tomatoes and herbs, salt and pepper. Toss in the shrimp and cook until shrimp is pink and tender, about 5 - 7 minutes, stirring frequently. Serve on top of linguine.
