Recipe Ingredients for Healthy Pie Crust

1 cup flour
1/3 cup Smart Balance Light
1 tbsp unsalted butter
4 tbsp water

Recipe Directions for Healthy Pie Crust

  1. Ensure that Smart Balance and butter are chilled

  2. Use two knives or a pastry cutter to blend the fats into the flour until the mixture is in pea size pieces

  3. Sprinkle water into mixture and mix with hands until it can be gathered into a ball

  4. Roll out, using a small amount of flour to prevent sticking

  5. Put in pie plate and fill

  6. Double the recipe for a double crust pie
