Calc at 300 cookies...used 3 1/4 c flour...tiny cookies but very flavorful

Recipe Ingredients for Healthy Pfeffernuse

4 T butter
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup dark molasses
1/4 cup dark corn syrup
1 egg
1/2 cup ground almonds
3 1/4 cup flour
1 t baking soda

Recipe Directions for Healthy Pfeffernuse

  1. Mix

  2. Add spices...anise seed, cinn, salt, black pepper, cloves, nutmeg...make spicy!

  3. Make into long skinny tubes and refrigerate overnight

  4. Cut into small pieces

  5. Bake 375 about 10-12 minutes...I went a little more as you want them dry
