this is my version of pesto sauce. Healthy oil free.

Recipe Ingredients for Healthy Pesto

3 cups baby spinach
1 cup Kale
2 cups basil
1 avocado
1 fruit+2"+dia lime
4 garlic cloves
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup water or less for blending the greens

Recipe Directions for Healthy Pesto

  1. Put the greens with a little water in a blender or food processor and blend for a few seconds, stoping, shaking the container or scraping greens off the sides and blending again. Add avocado, lime juice, salt and garlic cloves and blend again until it becomes smooth like a sauce. Add more water if too thick.

  2. Pour over favorite pasta, potatoes or veggies. Delicious!
