These simple homemade confections taste every bit as good as those store bought Reese's cups. They are lower in sugar, full of nourishing coconut oil and cocoa, and super easy to make!

Recipe Ingredients for Healthy Peanut Butter Cups

1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/8 cup cocoa powder
3 tablespoons coconut oil
2 1/2 tablespoons peanut butter
3/4 teaspoon peanut butter
3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
6 teaspoons honey

Recipe Directions for Healthy Peanut Butter Cups

Heat cocoa powder, coconut oil, and peanut butter in a saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally until mixture is completely smooth and liquefied. Remove pan from heat and stir in vanilla and honey with a spatula. Add a bit of stevia, stir around mixture, and taste. Add a pinch more stevia if necessary. Pour into silicone or paper miniature muffin cups in a mini muffin pan. If you're using silicone mini muffin cups, a cookie sheet is fine underneath. Place cups into freezer. Pop cups out of silicone cups after 10 minutes, and store in zip top bags in freezer. You can leave the cups in paper liners if you're serving them to company, or want to handle them without getting any chocolate on your fingers. You can store the treats in the fridge for a more fudge-like texture.
