Recipe Ingredients for Healthy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

1/4 cup splenda no calorie
1/8 cup honey
1/8 cup applesauce
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg white
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup dry oatmeal
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
1/8 cup peanut butter

Recipe Directions for Healthy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

  2. Sift together flour, baking soda, and salt.

  3. Stir together splenda, honey, applesauce, vanilla extract, cinnamon, peanut butter and egg white until smooth.

  4. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; stir into the batter until moistened.

  5. Add oat meal as desired for consistency.

  6. Mix in chocolate chips last.

  7. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.

  8. Bake in preheated oven until golden brown, 8 to 10 minutes
