Pancake made with oats and egg whites. Everything else is completely optional. Try substituting vanilla and cinnamon for banana (mix/mash well, so it is blended). Or try just egg and oats, with spicy peppers, salsa and some low fat sour cream and cheddar.

Recipe Ingredients for Healthy Pancake

1 large Egg, White
1 large Egg, White
1 large Egg, Whole
3/4 cup Oats, Regular And Quick And Instant, Unenriched
1 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 serving Fat Free Zero Yogurt
0.5 cup, unthawed Blueberries

Recipe Directions for Healthy Pancake

  1. Mix egg whites (I leave one yolk for extra protein), cinnamon, vanilla, and oats in a measuring cup until well blended.

  2. Heat frying pan to medium heat, coat with butter/olive oil/ etc if necessary.

  3. Pour contents all mixed together into frying pan, and heat until it is firm enough to flip. Cook until both sides are golden brown.

  4. Top with what ever you'd like.

  5. Try one egg white and a small amount of oats with low-fat whipped cream and strawberries, for a healthy delicious dessert!
