Recipe Ingredients for Healthy Oatmeal Cookies with Honey (1 of 48 cookies)

1 cup whole wheat flour
1 1/2 cups oats
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup unsweetened apple sauce
1 tbsp molasses
1 egg
1 tbsp water
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup raisins
1 cup chopped walnuts

Recipe Directions for Healthy Oatmeal Cookies with Honey (1 of 48 cookies)

  1. Mix dry ingredients together

  2. Mix wet ingredients (spary measuring cup with oil or baking spray before using it for honey - honey will not stick)

  3. Mix wet and dry stuff

  4. Add yummy ingredients

  5. Add flour if mixture seems to be wet

  6. Add an egg white if it isn' t binding

  7. Cool mixture for 20 minutes in the fridge

  8. Preheat oven to 335 degrees (lower temp due to the honey)

  9. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto the parchment covered baking sheet (approximately 30 cookies)

  10. Press down with a fork to ensure even cooking

  11. Bake for about 15 - 20 minutes or until golden on the bottom of the cookie

  12. Cookies freeze very well amd make a great snake
