Though this is called BBQ Chicken, it is not really what I would call BBQ. However, it's a very good recipe. My family likes meals with a lot of flavor, and this definitely has that.

Recipe Ingredients for Healthy Mama BBQ Chicken (Slow Cooker)

450 g sweet potatoes
2 green peppers
1 red pepper
1 zucchini
1 medium onion
1 oz Tapioca
2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breast
8 oz Tomato Sauce
2 tbsp packed brown sugar
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp yellow mustard
1 clove garlic
1/4 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Healthy Mama BBQ Chicken (Slow Cooker)

  1. Place in two gallon freezer bags, shake, seal, label, and freeze all.

  2. When ready to cook, let thaw for about 30 minutes, then place in slow cooker on low for 8 hours, or high for 4 hours.

  3. Serve alone, or over rice.
