Simple sweet and savory. Fresh veg fruit and protein, with carbs.

Recipe Ingredients for Healthy Macaroni Salad

6 oz ground turkey
2 apples
1/2 cup macaroni
2 cups chopped green beans
2 carrots
1/4 cup raisins
1 T olive oil

Recipe Directions for Healthy Macaroni Salad

  1. Cook ground turkey in whatever form you prefer, I use meatballs that have been diced.

  2. Cook macaroni or whatever type of pasta you prefer.

  3. Blanch green beans till bright green, rinse with cold water and dice into 1 inch long sections.

  4. Peel carrots and blanch. Cook till tender, rinse with cold water and dice.

  5. Dice apples.

  6. After cooked ingredients have cooled toss in a large bowl with 1 T of olive oil and serve cold.
