Eat these delicious pancakes for breakfast if you need to gain weight but still wishes to eat healthy. Try adding blueberries or a mashed banana to the batter, or eat with lots of fresh and dried fruits on the side, topping each pancake with my healthy chocolate spread, almond butter... the options are endless!

Recipe Ingredients for Healthy, HIGH-CAL Oatmeal Pancakes

50 grams Oatmeal
244 grams Water
30 grams Egg, White
40 grams Wheat bran
5 grams Sojaprotein, Body-kraft
20 grams Almonds
1 tsp Baking Powder
1/4 tsp Salt, Table

Recipe Directions for Healthy, HIGH-CAL Oatmeal Pancakes

  1. Combine oats and water (you can use milk if preferred) and let it sit for about ten minutes.

  2. While oats are soaking measure out your almonds and roughly chop them. When ten minutes has passed add them to the oats.

  3. Afterwards stir in the other ingredients, also adding sweetener of your choice (I use 1 tsp no-calorie sweetener), and put the batch in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

  4. Take out your batch and bake the pancakes on a non-stick pan (optional, you can choose to add 1 tsp oil to the batch to make it not stick.)

  5. TIP! If you're in a rush, the batter doesn't need to sit in the refrigerator before baking the pancakes on the pan.
